What or Who is that Light?
Joh 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. He was in the beginning with Yahweh. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
Joh 1:9-13 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of Elohim, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Elohim.
All mankind is groping in darkness, stumbling around for answers to the seemingly unanswerable. Everyone is teaching his neighbour it seems but few really have an ear to hear the Source of all Truth. As Pilate so famously and cynically said, “What is truth?” To begin to answer that we must turn to the One who is Truth. Not the ‘personal’ truth, or relative truth, or worse – the truth of the majority, but absolute Truth. This Truth has only one source, does not contradict itself, never changes and speaks with a still, small voice into the heart of everyone whom Yahweh has called, is calling and will yet call. The One who created all things also knows all things, this is self-evident for by His wisdom and power He created all things.
Jer 31:34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, “Know Yahweh,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Yahweh. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
How wonderful that day will be! Until then, there are many places that teach a little of that Truth, some that teach a little more and a few that teach a good measure. The degree of purity depends on what the Word calls, the love of the Truth, a gift to be earnestly desired. The intent of this site is to love Truth and to strive to reflect the Truth, as purely as humanly possible, from its only source: Yahushua, the Son of Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel, the Lamb of the Most High, the First and the Last: Aleph-Tav.
Joh 16:13-14 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.
The search for Truth is not a simple one and our path is deliberately frustrated with many arguments over doctrines, prophecies, translations, names, and on and on. The adversary is the opponent of Truth and will oppose it at every opportunity. In fact, the closer one gets to the Truth, the more heat one must expect. Invariably, the more heated and diverse the arguments are surrounding an article of Truth, the more you can be sure it is vital that you know it, and know that you know it. Flesh and blood can be used to relay Truth but only the Spirit of Yahweh can give us understanding such that we know that we know.
1Co 3:3-4 … For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?
Diverse arguments and divisions do not emanate from His Spirit. It is also true, for now, that divisions must exist that those who are approved may be known. But those whose eyes are fixed on Yahushua will not enter in to unholy conflict that does not edify but provokes. There is a polar difference between emotional arguments over Truth and humble reasoning together in seeking that Truth at the feet of Messiah Yahushua. Reasoning together is welcome, arguments are not. Before commenting on anything you see here please test the motivating spirit and discern whether it seeks holiness or something else.
Jas 1:19-20 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of Yahweh.
None of us are pure but let us bring every thought into submission to the Master, especially when dealing with one another. Seek His Light first and be generous with one another as you would have it for yourself.
Mat 23:8-10 “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Messiah”.
Where Truth may be found, it will be collected here either in pages, posts or links. At all times and in every case where Truth is found, it comes from the Father of lights through His Spirit. Hence all glory must be directed to Him through His Anointed, Yahushua our Messiah. No other is worthy of credit and no other can claim ownership of anything that is indeed True. No effort will be made to endorse any denomination, assembly, group or teacher, nor should any be inferred by the inclusion here of anything related to any earthly ministry. Yahweh has distributed gifts to many but He alone is worthy of the glory. The world heaps up many teachers to themselves but among the very elect there is One Teacher and we all, from the least to the greatest of His flock, are blessed to be counted His sheep and brethren to one another.
